The Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (ISIC) organised a ‘Design Thinking Workshop’, as a part of the Canada-India Science and Technology Innovation Dialogue, today and discussed various aspects of treating spinal cord injury patients including innovative technologies and sustainable rehabilitation of patients.
Today, Praxis Spinal Cord Institute and UBC’s School of Biomedical Engineering announced a partnership to expand Engineers in Scrubs (EiS), the School's flagship program in biomedical design. EiS trains some of Canada’s most talented biomedical engineering students to work directly with patients to solve problems that will improve outcomes for those with chronic and costly health conditions, such as spinal cord injuries.

This standing call request for proposals is to contract for Health Economics services to be provided to Praxis Spinal Cord Institute from November 1, 2019 through March 31, 2022.
Praxis is launching an open call on activity-based therapy (ABT) in order to increase evidence in this field to support implementation of ABT protocols across the SCI continuum.
To promote implementation and adoption of SCI evidence at the regional/provincial level, Praxis is requesting applications for initiatives that will lead to strong localized networks that engage various SCI stakeholders and relevant organizations to facilitate and champion practice and policy changes to optimize the local delivery of care for people with SCI in Canada.
