From its B.C. home, Praxis Spinal Cord Institute leads global collaboration in spinal cord injury research, innovation, and care. This work is informed by those living with SCI and based on partnerships with B.C. clinical leaders and innovators.
Acting as a hub for knowledge, innovation, and research in the SCI community, Praxis establishes British Columbia as a centre of global excellence in SCI research, innovation, and care, as part of B.C.’s growing life sciences sector. By continuing its work from its Vancouver home, British Columbians will continue to be exposed to the benefits of this research first, with clinicians, scientists, and entrepreneurs within the provincial life science sector exposed to specialized high-level training and ongoing engagement with people with lived experience, Indigenous SCI community and our partner organizations.
